📜 Hotel Details
"Atami Onsen Sakuraya Ryokan" is a traditional Japanese-style hot spring inn that has been in operation for 70 years. Its main attractions are the multiple dishes made from carefully selected seasonal ingredients from Atami and the flowing hot spring water sourced directly from the spring. The culinary theme is "dishes to be experienced with all five senses." Not only does it use local ingredients from Atami, but it also sources seasonal natural ingredients from all over the country, which are meticulously prepared by chefs into seafood dishes, simmered dishes, soups, and desserts. All dishes are served to guests in their rooms at the peak of their deliciousness. The menu changes monthly, incorporating the essence of seasonal ingredients.
Both dinner and breakfast are served in the guest rooms. If two or more rooms are booked, or if one room accommodates six or more guests, meals can also be enjoyed in a designated dining area. Children's meals are provided for elementary school-aged guests, offered with fewer dishes than the adult meals. For toddlers, a children's set menu is available. Please inquire for details when making a reservation.
The guest room building features two different themes. The "Urushi" themed "Urushi Treasure Pavilion" is a special room made of beech wood with an outdoor bath (1 room), while various room types are available, including loft-style rooms (2 rooms). The loft-style rooms in "Urushi Treasure Pavilion" offer ocean views, with the "Tōzan Pavilion" facing the sea, featuring standard rooms equipped with large beds, a table and chair set, and a sofa. Additionally, all guest rooms have indoor baths that are fed by the hot spring source.
The large public baths include "Sea Star Bath" and "Heavenly Star Bath." Both are weak alkaline chloride hot springs with temperatures above 60 degrees. Guests can enjoy the pleasures of soaking in indoor hot springs, outdoor baths, sleeping baths, saunas, and cold springs.
