Atami TENSUI is located in the popular hot spring resort of Atami and is a Japanese inn with a modern and stylish design, about a 50-minute drive from Tokyo. The inn features a total of 19 guest rooms, each uniquely designed, yet all are tastefully crafted stylish spaces. There are Japanese twin rooms with outdoor baths that offer views of the sea from a terrace equipped with sofas. Additionally, there are rooms that blend Japanese and Western styles, Japanese rooms with king-sized beds, Western-style rooms, and traditional Japanese rooms furnished with eight tatami mats, allowing guests to fully enjoy a serene and elegant atmosphere.
As an Auberge inn, the cuisine offered is exceptional (※Auberge is derived from French, referring to a restaurant with guest rooms, meaning an inn primarily focused on providing gourmet food). The Japanese dishes incorporate French or Italian cooking techniques, offering not only delicious but also visually appealing meals. Notably, the signature dishes include fresh sashimi from locally caught fish, grilled dishes using Wagyu beef, and kaiseki cuisine. The ingredients used, such as matsutake mushrooms, taro, chestnuts, ginkgo nuts, Ezo abalone, and sanma (Pacific saury), are all meticulously selected based on the season to ensure the best quality.
The on-site hot spring is renowned for its "beauty bath." The water is a weak alkaline sulfate-chloride spring, known for its soft texture and excellent skin beautifying effects. Guests can enjoy the pleasure of soaking in the outdoor bath while taking in the views of Sagami Bay, as well as a large public bath and jet massage bath.
