🏨 Chaburu茶玻瑠（ちゃはる）

Chaharu is located on the hot spring street next to the Dogo Onsen Honkan and is the first ryokan in Dogo Onsen to have an open-air bath. The signature open-air bath is situated on the 10th floor, offering views of Matsuyama Castle and Ishizuchi Mountain. Guests can also enjoy stargazing while soaking in the bath at night. Additionally, the women's bath features an outdoor rose bath available from 5 PM to 10 PM on six days of the week, allowing guests to experience Chaharu's unique luxurious bathing enjoyment. After bathing, guests can relax in the scenic lounge. Chaharu offers a variety of guest rooms, including traditional Japanese-style rooms that provide a homely feel, Western-style rooms that break away from the everyday, and modern Japanese-Western fusion rooms, allowing guests to choose according to their needs. Among them, the most notable is the room designed by former Marimekko designer Fujio Ishimoto, which features Marimekko mugs and pillow covers. Additionally, Ishimoto's designs can also be seen in the CHAHARU boutique on the first floor and the restaurant "LA CUISINE JAPONAISE HARI" on the third floor. There are two restaurants available. "Saryo Hanakouji," which serves modern-style kaiseki cuisine, and the buffet restaurant "MAIN DINING HARI" on the third floor. Furthermore, the first-floor "RIN" offers kimono rental services, making it a great opportunity to change into traditional attire and stroll through the hot spring street.
