🎨 Hotel Gallery
📝 Introduction
Located at an altitude of 1,300 meters, this hot spring resort resembles a sky vacation village.
📖 Details
Located in the deepest part of Nasu Onsen Village, at an altitude of 1,300 meters in a mountain valley, this hidden hot spring ryokan is renowned for its association with General Nogi Maresuke, who famously came here annually for relaxation during the Meiji period. The ryokan features exhibits related to General Nogi.
The hot spring's water volume ranks first in Nasu Onsen Village. There are four outdoor baths of varying sizes, including the large natural outdoor bath "Kawa no Yu," formed by intercepting and enclosing the ryokan's own spring water from the back mountain. Guests can enjoy a source-flowing hot spring that is unheated and untreated (though it may be heated during certain periods). The water is a simple spring rich in metasilicic acid, reputed for its excellent skin-beautifying effects. In addition to the outdoor baths, there are three uniquely designed indoor baths and bathhouses. The hot spring is also open to outside guests for day-use.
The main building and annex offer different themed room types. Each room is a tranquil space filled with a warm wooden atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy peaceful and relaxing moments. Additionally, the cuisine, made with carefully selected local ingredients from Nasu, reflects the changing seasons and is not to be missed.
