📖 Details
The Minato Mirai Line is a railway line that connects "Yokohama" Station to "Motomachi-Chukagai" Station. Although it only has 6 stations, it runs through the Minato Mirai area, Yamashita Park, and Yokohama Chinatown, which are representative tourist attractions in Yokohama. It is the best companion for day-trippers visiting multiple sights. The line is directly connected to the Tokyu Toyoko Line, making transportation from Tokyo to the Yokohama Bay area quite convenient.
You can purchase the "Minato Mirai Line One-Day Pass," which allows unlimited rides on the Minato Mirai Line for a whole day. This pass can be bought at the automatic ticket machines on the Minato Mirai Line or at the station offices outside of Yokohama Station. The ticket price is 460 yen for adults and 230 yen for children. If you plan to ride the Minato Mirai Line more than three times in one day, the "One-Day Pass" is definitely the most cost-effective choice.
Additionally, many facilities offer discounts or special benefits when you present the "One-Day Pass," which is another major attraction. Before you start your sightseeing, don't forget to check the official website for a list of participating stores offering these discounts.
