The Kamakura Music Box Museum is located in front of Hase-dera, about a 5-minute walk from Hase Station, where the Great Buddha of Kamakura is located. In front of the shop, there is a 3-meter-high mechanical clock that plays music box melodies every hour from 9 AM to 6 PM. Inside the store, there are over 6,000 music boxes of 1,000 different sizes, including exclusive products like the hydrangea and Great Buddha original music boxes, which are only available at the Kamakura store.
