Both Higashi Honganji and Nishi Honganji are within walking distance, making it a prime location for sightseeing in Kyoto. The Kyoto Tower Hotel offers a variety of room types. There are "Single Rooms" convenient for solo travelers or business guests, "Corner Twin Rooms" with views of Kyoto Station, and "Deluxe Family Rooms" that can accommodate up to eight guests, allowing for selection based on the number of people or purpose. In March 2023, 74 out of 161 rooms were renovated, with an additional 37 rooms set to be renovated by February 2024. The design incorporates Kyoto-style colors and aesthetics, creating a minimalist yet elegant space where guests can enjoy a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere akin to home. Breakfast is served at the "Tower Terrace" restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Kyoto Tower Building. The buffet offers a rich selection of dishes, including Kyoto home-style cuisine, pickles, and chazuke (tea over rice), along with various Asian dishes and matcha desserts unique to Kyoto.
