Its convenient transportation, just about an hour by train from central Tokyo, along with well-maintained hiking trails and a manageable elevation of 599 meters, make it a favorite not only among Japanese tourists but also among many international hikers. Located at the foot of 高尾山 (Mt. Takao), the "高尾山基地露營青年旅舍 Mt.TAKAO BASE CAMP" offers a relaxed atmosphere and modern facilities. Since its opening in 2019, it has quickly become a popular guest house with a cozy mountain lodge style. The room rates are quite affordable, featuring dormitory rooms available for private rental, as well as family rooms equipped with washbasins. There is also an option for exclusive rental of the entire guest house. The café & bar on the first floor operates under the concept of "treating yourself after descending," offering dishes such as hamburgers and curry, along with barbecue and set meals. Is it possible to check in early or check out late?

Check-in time is limited to 3 PM to 8 PM. Luggage can be stored before check-in. Additionally, if your arrival time is later than 8 PM, you must make a payment in advance according to the regulations. The hotel will send an email with instructions for self-check-in, and at that time, guests can enter the premises on their own.

English services are provided only when English-speaking staff are available.

Is there a delivery service that sends luggage to the airport or train station?

Delivery to your home is available with cash on delivery, but there is no delivery service to airports or train stations.

Can I store my luggage after checking out?

There are unsecured storage shelves available for temporarily storing luggage. If you wish to store your items in a secured locker, you can go to the front desk to arrange for paid storage (330 yen).
