MUNI KYOTO is a luxury hotel that opened in August 2020, located in front of the Togetsukyo Bridge at the foot of Arashiyama in Kyoto. With the concept of "unique scenery," it offers guests an ultimate relaxing healing space and a luxurious accommodation experience. The hotel features 21 guest rooms, each over 50 square meters in size, where guests can enjoy the beautiful views of Arashiyama that change with the seasons. Each room is meticulously designed, including a spacious 280 cm wide bed in the double rooms and exclusive bath amenities made from Kyoto materials, making attention to detail very comfortable. The hotel has two luxury restaurants: the modern restaurant "MUNI ALAIN DUCASSE," which serves French cuisine using a large amount of Kyoto ingredients during dinner; and "MUNI LA TERRASSE," where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea while admiring the views of the Katsura River. Both restaurants are overseen by Alessandro Guardiani, who trained at "Ducasse Paris," founded by the world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse. Additionally, "MUNI LA BOUTIQUE" offers a variety of baked sweets, including the signature brioche and chocolate bars from MUNI KYOTO. The "MUNI SPA," infused with the essence of Japanese tradition and culture, provides travelers with a unique Kyoto experience, focusing on health and wholeness, allowing them to enjoy treatments that guide the body and mind back to their original state. Moreover, the hotel offers admission tickets to the "Fukuda Art Museum," a lounge exclusive to guests of "MUNI LA TERRASSE," a gym available for free 24 hours, and comprehensive services dedicated to hotel guests.
