🏨 Nagisatei Taroan渚亭　たろう庵

Nagisatei Taroan is a small and exquisite hot spring inn located on a hillside with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, just a 5-minute drive from the Sanriku Railway's "Nitta-Ro" station. All guest rooms offer views of the only coastal national park in the Tohoku region, showcasing the stunning Rias Coast lined with cliffs. The inn consists of three buildings: the main building, the Tenbo building, and the annex. Each of the 10 guest rooms features an outdoor bath and is luxuriously decorated in a charming modern Japanese style. The main building, Taro no An (3 rooms), offers traditional Japanese rooms, while the Tenbo building, Jiro no An (5 rooms), and the annex, Saburo no An (2 rooms), provide Western-style twin rooms. In addition to the outdoor baths in each guest room, there are also rooftop outdoor baths and private outdoor baths available. Both the outdoor and indoor hot springs offer excellent views of the Pacific Ocean. The dining area includes private rooms, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The inn was formerly known as "Taro Kanko Ryokan," but it was severely damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. It was rebuilt on the current hillside and reopened in 2015 under the name "Nagisatei Taroan."

You can enjoy the magnificent views of the Sanriku region from the comfortable guest rooms. All rooms are equipped with outdoor hot springs, and dining is available in private booths that offer an intimate atmosphere. Free taxi pick-up service is provided from the Sanriku Railway "Nitta-rou" station. You can savor fresh seafood caught from the Sanriku fishing grounds and local mountain delicacies from Nitta.
