Located in the southeastern part of Wakayama Prefecture, the hot spring town at the foot of "Nachisan," a site rich in World Heritage. There are 175 hot spring sources in the area, and in addition to enjoying the famous hot spring ryokans and hotels, there are also several facilities for single-use bathing. In front of JR Kii-Katsuura Station, and near the "Katsuura Fishing Port" accessible by walking from the station, there are foot baths. Enjoy the pleasure of free foot bathing while being caressed by the pleasant sea breeze. After soaking in the hot springs, you can visit historical heritage sites such as the "Kumano Kodo" or "Nachitaki Falls," or taste the fresh tuna, known for Japan's highest tuna production.
