A: To prevent against rapid changes and unpredictable weather, it is best to prepare rain gear and thicker cold-weather clothing. The average temperature is 12 to 15 degrees lower than that of the plains (Toyama City). From June to July, the average maximum temperature is about 10 to 15°C. In the early morning and evening, it can drop to around 5°C. Although the sun is stronger at noon, it can still feel cold when it's windy. For the upper body, wearing a thin sweater or long-sleeved moisture-wicking shirt, along with a windbreaker, is recommended. For footwear, it is advisable to wear high-top shoes or hiking shoes.
