📖 Details
Just a 30-minute drive from downtown Osaka, travelers can escape the urban hustle and enjoy a relaxing and healing experience at a hot spring ryokan surrounded by the beautiful nature of mountains and waters. It also takes only 30 minutes to drive from Osaka International Airport (Itami Airport), making domestic travel in Japan quite convenient.
The hot spring that flows from the ground is a natural radium spring with excellent heat retention properties. Guests can enjoy the superb quality of the spring water in the open-air baths adorned with seasonal scenery such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, and autumn leaves. Although it is a traditional ryokan, the guest rooms have been renovated to provide a clean and comfortable atmosphere. There are various room types available, including 20 rooms with open-air baths, tranquil Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms with beds, and pet-friendly rooms that allow small dogs to stay.
The kaiseki dinner features local mountain produce and seafood, with seasonal ingredients that change monthly. In winter, there are healthy and high-protein pork dishes like the buta nabe (boar hot pot) and shabu-shabu, along with a full-course fugu (pufferfish) kaiseki meal, a winter delicacy of Osaka. The buffet-style breakfast is also one of the highlights of the ryokan; in addition to a rich selection of Japanese and Western dishes, there are instant noodles unique to Osaka, the birthplace of instant ramen, and freshly made rice balls. Additionally, there are facilities such as a children's favorite swimming pool (summer only) and an outdoor barbecue area, enhancing the vacation atmosphere.
