In 1590, Toyotomi Hideyoshi conquered various factions across the country, becoming the first military commander in Japanese history to unify the nation. There is a historical tale about Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his loyal retainer Ishida Mitsunari, which recounts how Ishida Mitsunari presented three cups of tea to Hideyoshi during their first meeting. This story later led to the three cups of tea being referred to as "San Ken Cha" (三献茶). This experience allows you to feel the hospitality that earned Ishida Mitsunari Hideyoshi's recognition by brewing and tasting "San Ken Cha" in a traditional tea house established in 1756.
