📖 Details

Located behind the main road of the bustling "Old Karuizawa Ginza Street," this shop offers dishes such as mochi and soba noodles. The characters for "力餅" (Chikara Mochi) on the noren and lanterns mark the store as "Adumaya(あづまや)." The signature "力餅" is made from freshly pounded mochi, shaped into bite-sized pieces that are soft and easy to eat, making it a favorite among travelers. There are six flavors available: sweet (red bean), spicy (daikon radish), perilla, soybean flour, walnut, and sesame (black sesame), with the combination of "sweet" and "spicy" being the most popular. Additionally, the "perilla" flavor is exclusive to this shop and is highly recommended.
