In a residential area of Senkawacho, Chofu City, Tokyo, there is a retro-style bakery. In addition to focusing on quality ingredients, the prices are reasonable. The most popular item is a simple toast bread called "角食" (Kakushoku). There is often a long line from before the shop opens, and it sells out immediately after opening, which is why it is referred to as the "dream toast." Besides "角食" (Kakushoku), they also sell about 20 to 30 types of bread, including hard bread made with natural yeast and sweet pastries.
