Ariake Garden opened in 2020. This large-scale mixed-use commercial facility was created as part of the redevelopment project in Tokyo's waterfront area. Spanning an expansive area of 10.7 hectares, it houses a variety of shops and entertainment facilities. Among them, the most notable is the "Sumitomo Realty Shopping City Ariake Garden," which features over 200 stores.
The mall includes the largest "MUJI Tokyo Ariake" in the Kanto region and stores that have introduced the AEON STYLE "automated checkout" system, allowing for a refreshing shopping experience without the need to queue for payment. On the fifth floor, there is a restaurant street and a food court that collectively host 30 restaurants. The fifth floor also features the "Water Terrace," where visitors can enjoy water play and watch fountain shows. The vast grounds also include the "Tokyo Garden Theater," a theater-style hall that can accommodate 8,000 spectators, as well as other entertainment facilities like the "Ariake Shiki Theater." Additionally, there is a large hotel, "Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Ariake," offering up to 11 different room types.
Moreover, the 24-hour onsen facility "Izumi Sky Spa Ariake Garden" is also highly recommended. The facility features natural hot springs sourced from 1,500 meters underground, various baths that change daily, and carbonated baths. It also includes a rock bath area, relaxation spaces, and restaurants. Visitors can unwind in the onsen while enjoying their shopping experience.
