A lodging-type art museum where guests can stay in spaces designed by artists. Following Koenji, it opened in 2019 near the picturesque Kamo River in Kyoto. It is a collaboration among contemporary emerging artists from Kyoto, active creators in the Kansai region, and architects. There are a total of 31 guest rooms, each with a unique design concept, making them independent "lodging-type art pieces." Guests can immerse themselves in the art world and find inspiration, creating an irresistible space for art lovers. A portion of the accommodation fees is returned to the artists, establishing a mechanism to support them. From a stepped gallery approximately 30 meters high to an attached art museum shop, cafรฉ, and bar, the public spaces host regular exhibitions and music events, serving as a gathering point for artists and art enthusiasts from both domestic and international backgrounds.
