The expansive 1,500-tsubo garden is home to approximately 200 types of plants, creating a beautiful landscape. From spring to autumn, guests can enjoy meals by the gently flowing river within the garden. In early summer, the dazzling sight of fireflies can also be seen dancing in the air. This breathtaking scenery has historically healed the hearts of visiting guests. There are two large baths: "Hinoki-yu," which emanates the refreshing aroma of cypress wood, and "Mikage-yu," featuring the beautiful Hanagaki rock bath from Iyo Ōshima, where guests can enjoy the source of Dogo Onsen, one of Japan's oldest hot springs, with gender-segregated usage. The cuisine is also highly praised, offering kaiseki, French dishes, or Japanese-Western fusion meals, allowing guests to savor the mountain delicacies and seafood of Setouchi, as well as the local ingredients from Matsuyama, known as a "treasure trove of ingredients."
