🍜 Ganso Nagahama-ya

📝 Introduction

The flavor that originated from the Showa street stalls has been passed down to this day, and it is the essence of Nagahama Ramen.

📖 Details

Facing the Hakata Fishing Port, Nagahama is the birthplace of "Nagahama Ramen." To serve the people working at the fish market in the shortest time possible, it is characterized by the use of extremely thin noodles that require the shortest blanching time. Founded in Showa 27 (1952) from a food stall, "Ganso Nagahama-ya" is the original source of Nagahama Ramen, widely known by the nickname "GANNAGA." The menu only features ramen. Although it has a pork bone flavor, it is not overly rich; the refreshing broth that can be enjoyed early in the morning has remained unchanged since the establishment. The toppings are also very simple, consisting only of chopped green onions and sliced chashu. Upon entering the shop, customers first purchase a meal ticket from the vending machine and then specify the desired firmness of the noodles (raw, hard, normal, soft) when ordering, allowing for customization to your preference. If you feel you need more, you can also add extra noodles, which originated from this shop; not only the noodles, but you can also add more chashu. The table is equipped with dipping sauce, pickled ginger, white sesame, etc., making it highly recommended to try various flavors.
