The honey specialty store "Yama no Hachimitsu-ya" is located in Akita Prefecture, a renowned honey-producing area in Japan. Inside the beehive-shaped dome wooden house, you can find various types of honey sourced from the local area, including Nanahoshi tree honey and Acacia honey, as well as a variety of honeys from both domestic and international sources, such as lemon and coffee honey. All products are available for tasting, so feel free to come and find your favorite flavor. In addition to honey, there are also snacks made with honey, such as Nagasaki cakes and candies, processed products like Akita Komachi honey amazake, as well as health foods like propolis and royal jelly, making the product lineup very diverse. They also sell ice cream made with a large amount of Acacia honey. The premises also feature a café where you can enjoy desserts like pudding and cake rolls made with honey, as well as a pizza workshop that bakes authentic Neapolitan pizza in a stone oven. The relaxation area, transformed from a cute London bus, is also very popular.
