Established in the first year of the Hōei era (1704), the building is designated as a cultural property and was later renovated into a traditional Japanese inn in the 18th year of the Meiji era (1885). From the guest room windows, you can enjoy views of Kintai Bridge spanning the Nishiki River and Iwakuni Castle, taking in the charming scenery of the castle town. This inn, known as a "Kappō Ryokan," features a signature dish crafted by the head chef, who showcases exquisite skills using locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
