The store is divided into three floors themed as "Japanese Area," "Western Area," and "Country Area," each showcasing a rich variety of glass products such as tableware, glassware, oil lamps, and decorations. The grand stone building, constructed in the 24th year of the Meiji era (1891), was originally a warehouse for the fishing industry and is definitely worth a visit.
In addition to the shop, there is a dreamy space called "Kitaichi Hall," which features 167 illuminated oil lamps, and the "No. 3 Hall Terrace," where various flavors of ice cream are available. "Kitaichi Hall" offers dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients, as well as local delicacies unique to Hokkaido.
