The new gourmet resort hotel "Koyamakan," located next to the "Ginzansou" ryokan in Ginzan Onsen, Yamagata Prefecture, opened in 2017. Its Japanese-style exterior perfectly matches the atmosphere of the hot spring town. There are a total of six Western-style guest rooms that overlook the street scene of the hot spring town, featuring a stylish interior. The room numbers are composed of Italian words representing "new" and "classical." Dinner is a set Italian meal prepared by the owner, who trained in culinary arts at a famous restaurant in Tokyo. The menu features local ingredients such as "Obanazawa Beef" and fresh vegetables from Kahoku Town, allowing guests to savor Yamagata-style Italian cuisine. The selection of Italian wines and Yamagata wines to accompany the meal is also quite extensive. Guests can enjoy the indoor bath on the first floor of the main building and the private baths on the third floor. The abundant source of flowing hot spring water warms the body from the inside out. Please note that children are only allowed to stay if they are in the upper grades of elementary school or older.
