🏨 Kyoto Arashiyama Onsen Kaden-sho

📝 Introduction

Enjoy your stay in Arashiyama at a ryokan filled with Japanese charm.

📖 Details

Standing in the popular tourist area of Kyoto—Arashiyama—is a hot spring ryokan with a total of 105 guest rooms. There are three types of rooms: "Kyoto Machiya," "Kyoto Wafuu," and "Kyoto Stylish," along with variations in different partitions, offering a total of 10 room types to choose from. Accommodating from 1 to 4 people, guests can select based on their number or needs. From the furnishings and bedding to tea leaves and incense, everything is thoughtfully curated, allowing guests to leisurely enjoy relaxation in a Japanese space filled with Kyoto's charm. The indoor bath in the large public bath is fed by the natural Arashiyama hot spring, which is said to effectively alleviate nerve pain and muscle aches. The water quality is a mildly alkaline simple hot spring. After soaking, the skin becomes soft and supple, earning high praise. There are also five uniquely styled private baths, which are quite rare in Kyoto, allowing couples and families to enjoy a relaxing soak. The ryokan features several restaurants with a sense of privacy, where guests can savor kaiseki cuisine based on the concept of "five dishes and one soup," called "Shiki Yuzan." The menu changes with the seasons, and there is an à la carte buffet offering "select Kyoto home-style dishes" and "steaming hot tempura." The Japanese-style breakfast also includes a variety of Kyoto home-style dishes.
