🏨 Le-Port Sui Island

Le-Port Awajima is an accommodation facility located within the "Awajima Marine Memorial Park" in Setonaikai National Park. Inside Le-Port Awajima, there are Western-style and Japanese-style rooms, as well as art rooms showcasing works by artists, which have been available since 2020. Additionally, there are seven charming log cabins styled like mountain lodges, each accommodating up to five people. Three of these cabins allow pets. Furthermore, this inn on the island of art contributes 500 yen from each guest's accommodation fee to support local young artists in their activities. The breakfast and dinner provided by the inn are quite appealing. In the restaurant, guests can enjoy innovative kaiseki cuisine, as well as a seafood barbecue option that allows them to savor various seafood delicacies from the Seto Inland Sea all at once. The restaurant is open not only to guests but also to local island residents. From June to October each year, the inn offers accommodation packages that include a "mini sea firefly viewing event," which is highly recommended. Sea fireflies are known as the jewels of the sea, releasing a blue glow when stimulated by external factors such as waves. Since sea fireflies are hard to see in other places, this event is held by the seaside. The beach sparkles with blue starlight from the sea fireflies, creating a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere under the starry sky, leaving wonderful memories of the trip. Additionally, the inn features actual items related to the Kitamae ships that appear in the "Awajima Iroha Playing Cards," such as stone pillars for mooring and anchors, making it a great spot for memorable photos.
