In September 2021, "THE SHARE HOTELS" opened its 9th location by the shores of Araike at the southern end of Nara Park. The name "MIROKU" is derived from the beautiful foothills of Nara and the deer, combining "美 (MI)" for beauty and "麓・鹿 (ROKU)" for foothills and deer. It also carries the meaning of the Buddha "Miroku Bosatsu," who comes to the world to save all beings. To the north of the hotel is Nara Park, and to the west is the city of Nara, making it an excellent location that blends the nature and streets of the ancient capital of Nara. Guests can enjoy unique views, such as the five-story pagoda of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hōryū-ji and the primeval forest of Kasuga-yama, which are very characteristic of Nara. The first to fourth floors feature exquisite Japanese-style interiors, while the basement level boldly incorporates designs using Yoshino cedar logs. Additionally, on the first floor, there is a public space featuring "CAFE & BAR MIROKU TERRACE," operated by the famous Nara café "核桃樹 KURUMI NO KI." Both Japanese and Western-style breakfasts made with local ingredients are very popular among many guests.
