📜 Hotel Details

The inn is located in Ginzan Onsen, Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture. Standing along the banks of the Ginzan River, the wooden hot spring ryokan is situated in a street lined with similar inns and has been designated as a registered tangible cultural asset. In addition to the large public bath, there are two outdoor baths and a cave bath, providing a unique experience in each of the differently styled bathing areas. The hot spring, which emits a faint sulfur smell, is known for its broad effects on conditions such as neuralgia and skin diseases. Dinner features luxurious kaiseki cuisine made with local ingredients, including Obanazawa beef shabu-shabu and carp sashimi, offering delicious dishes that can only be enjoyed in Obanazawa. For those traveling by public transport, there are buses from Oishida Station to Ginzan Onsen, with only five departures per day. The inn offers a free shuttle bus from Oishida Station, with two daily departures (13:40 and 15:45), which is a recommended option. There are a total of 15 guest rooms, so early reservations are advised.
