🏨 Rain Hut Kanazawa
🎨 Hotel Gallery
📝 Introduction
A hotel that embodies the concept of "enjoying even rainy days" and allows for an in-depth experience of Kanazawa culture.
📖 Details
Kanazawa, known for its heavy rainfall, has a saying that goes, "Even if you forget your lunch, don't forget your umbrella." In addition to enjoying sightseeing on sunny days, visitors can fully experience the beauty of rainy days. The concept behind naming the place "Uian" is to encourage travelers to feel that "today is a rainy day, what good luck!"
On the first floor, the lounge "Haru no Ma" displays books and artworks related to Kanazawa, offering free Kaga tea and soba noodle service (from 21:00 to 23:00), allowing guests to easily engage with Kanazawa's culture. Additionally, guests can sample local sake and find their favorite varieties to enjoy with small dishes (from 15:00 to 23:30). The most captivating aspect is the artworks themed around "rain" created by various artists. This includes calligraphy and sculptures by Shihō, an aroma box produced by the 21st generation heir of the Shino school of incense, Hachiya Sōhō, and fine line art by the creative team "secca."
The guest rooms come in seven types, including twin rooms and double rooms, featuring spacious and stylish Japanese design. The interiors include round windows inspired by garden courtyards and tea rooms, allowing guests to feel the atmosphere of Kanazawa even while in their rooms. Moreover, each guest room is equipped with a bathtub, which is one of the charms that helps to completely relieve the fatigue of travel.
The breakfast-inclusive plan offers meals made with local ingredients such as Kaga vegetables, Noto pork, and Kanazawa throat black fish. Guests can choose between Japanese and Western-style breakfasts, enjoying a leisurely and relaxed morning time.
