🏨 Takachiho Shinrin Ryokan高千穂 離れの宿 神隠れ

In the heart that exudes high-quality Japanese style, there are four buildings with a total of eight independent guest rooms arranged leisurely. The guest rooms are themed around "Hana, Tori, Fūgetsu" (華鳥風月), featuring modern Japanese-style rooms (和洋室) with Western-style rooms equipped with Sealy mattresses, and relaxing Japanese tatami rooms (和室), each with distinct characteristics for guests to choose according to their preferences. All guest rooms are equipped with private baths, allowing guests to indulge in a soak at any time. The hot water in the private baths is drawn from the sacred water of the Tamataregu Falls in Takachiho Gorge. The cuisine, which makes extensive use of local ingredients unique to Takachiho, has an excellent reputation. The head chef showcases exquisite culinary skills using seasonal ingredients that Takachiho takes pride in, including the "Takachiho Beef," which has won the "Prime Minister's Award" at a national competition, as well as fresh cherry trout and tender seasonal local vegetables. Additionally, a selection of shochu carefully chosen from local breweries in Miyazaki, known as the "Kingdom of Shochu," is available. The breakfast is abundant, served in a bamboo basket with seven colorful side dishes, including "Hinohikari" rice from Takachiho Town, allowing guests to savor the gifts of nature in every bite. In Takachiho, a place rich in myth and legend, guests can fully enjoy an extraordinary luxurious moment.
