Tōnankō Onsen was established in the mid-Edo period and has been renowned as a hot spring resort since ancient times due to its excellent water quality. Ryokan Ōnuma is a well-known accommodation in the area with a history of 120 years. The mixed bathing large public bath (with designated women's hours), medicinal stone bath, foot bath, and seven indoor hot spring baths all feature flowing spring water, allowing the body to warm from the inside out, and they also provide excellent skin beautifying effects. The main building and the healing facility offer six types of rooms, filled with a warm wooden atmosphere. In addition to traditional Japanese-style rooms, there are also Western-style beds for a more relaxed sleeping experience. Dinner is served as a set meal, featuring local specialties such as Sendai beef and beef tongue. Additionally, for those who prioritize health, a homemade medicinal hot pot is available, with the option to upgrade to healthy meals like brown rice or multigrain rice.
