Yumura Onsen in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, boasts a long history of 1,200 years and is known as "Shingen's Original Hot Spring," making it one of Japan's famous hot spring towns.
The Tokiwakan Hotel, located in this hot spring area, was established in 1929 (Showa 4) and combines the unique hospitality of traditional Japanese inns with the functionality and convenience of modern hotels. The hotel features a Japanese garden covering approximately one hectare, offering beautiful scenery that varies with the seasons and is often listed in foreign magazines' rankings of "Japanese Gardens."
The men's outdoor bath is situated within the garden, providing a sense of openness, while the women's large bath is infused with the elegant scent of cypress.
