Aizu Yunokami Onsen Oshima Hotel

The "Oshima Hotel" at Yunokami Onsen is a well-known hot spring resort in Aizu Okuzashiki, cherished by bathers since the Edo period. It is just a one-minute walk from Yunokami Onsen Station on the Aizu Railway, boasting an excellent location; Yunokami Onsen Station is famous for its thatched-roof station building, one of the few remaining in Japan. Among the seven guest rooms, those facing the railway offer the best views, showcasing the sight of trains passing by through fully bloomed cherry blossoms and soft white snow, making it a dream spot for railway enthusiasts. Additionally, the rooms overlooking the Agagawa River are spacious and can accommodate up to six guests. The hot spring features an indoor bath with a continuous flow of spring water, known for its delicate texture and nicknamed "beauty skin hot spring." There are also private outdoor baths with beautiful views of the valley. Meals consist of a rich kaiseki cuisine made from seasonal mountain produce such as wild vegetables, mushrooms, and river fish. There are also set meals featuring Aizu pork and horse meat. The innkeeper personally prepares delicious 100% buckwheat soba noodles, made from buckwheat grown on their own farm (reservation required).
