🛍️ Book 1st. Shinjuku Store

Book 1st is the largest bookstore at the west exit of Shinjuku Station. The bookstore is located on the B1 and B2 levels of the uniquely designed skyscraper "Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower." Inside the bookstore, there are seven sections from A to G, with over 900,000 books and magazines. Each month, the bookstore hosts various events in different fields, such as signings, stand-up comedy, and various lectures and networking events. In addition to books, there is also a stationery and miscellaneous goods section on the B1 level. Although it occupies only one corner of the floor, it is quite spacious and offers a rich selection of products.

The largest bookstore at the West Exit of Shinjuku Station also features a stationery and miscellaneous goods section. On rainy days, you can access it directly from the underground shopping street at Shinjuku West Exit. It is open until 10:30 PM. The store frequently hosts events in various fields, such as book signings and stand-up comedy shows. In the Western books section, there is a dedicated "WELCOME TO JAPAN" corner that introduces Japanese culture.
