You can enjoy live performances of folk songs at an izakaya that does not charge for singing or table fees. Three live folk performances are held daily at 7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM. Not only can you listen to the music live, but it is also open to everyone, making it a great place to create wonderful memories during your trip to Okinawa.
The cuisine features unique dishes from Okinawa, as well as traditional local dishes that have been loved by locals for generations. The biggest highlights are the famous Okinawan Agu pork and Ishigaki beef. The Agu pork belly is slow-cooked with awamori and white miso to create the melt-in-your-mouth "Okinawa braised pork," and the marbled and tender "Ishigaki beef sirloin steak" is a must-try dish.
There are also handmade local dishes worth tasting, such as the chewy "sea grapes," the "fried island tofu" served with homemade broth, and the "Okinawa stir-fried bitter melon" loaded with bitter melon. A wide variety of alcoholic beverages are available, including ORION draft beer and cocktails made with awamori.
