🛍️ Ganso Food Model Shop Kappabashi Store

Located in the Asakusa area, Kappabashi Dougu Street is famous for its wide range of kitchen supplies, from professional to home use. At its center is "Ganso Shokuhin Mokei-ya," where you can purchase exclusive products made by the long-established food model shop "Kabushikigaisha Iwasaki." Inside the store, there is a dazzling array of products modeled after dishes, desserts, and ingredients that look almost lifelike. In addition to keychains and charms that can be easily carried, there are also magnets, pen holders, small boxes, and many other practical items that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The various fun products make great souvenirs. On the second floor, there is a food model-making experience guided by skilled staff. If you participate in the general course using traditional wax, you can join from the first grade of elementary school (first and second graders must be accompanied by an adult). With the help of instructional videos, you can complete models of tempura and lettuce in about 40 minutes. Please note that the experience is conducted in Japanese.
