Founded over 140 years ago, the traditional Kyoto confectionery shop "Imanishi Seika" has created a new sensation in the Kyoto candy brand. The theme concept revolves around "color," differing from typical Kyoto sweets that consist of two colors. Instead, they employ a multicolored approach along with delicate craftsmanship reminiscent of stained glass, presenting a beautiful and charming appearance. The stunning colors draw inspiration from European coloring techniques and are combined with the solid craftsmanship accumulated by artisans over many years, resulting in exceptional products that can only be found here.
From the twelve-layer "Tsuiseki no Irome" of the Heian period to the popular color combinations of today, there are over 100 uniquely meaningful color pairings. Each flavor is distinct, and the naming conventions, such as "Shion" and "Antoinette," which carry stories, are also noteworthy.
In addition to standard sizes, there are mini sizes called "Hina" to cater to various customer needs. There are also exclusive products available only at the Kyoto main store and seasonal limited items.
