The ryotei is located on the riverside north of the Nagara River, exuding elegance and unique charm. The 90-year-old building was originally a ryokan and features a two-story structure with traditional Japanese architectural elements, including a corridor and railing. From the sliding lattice doors of the private rooms, guests can enjoy a distant view of the Nagara River and Kinka Mountain, making it the top choice for entertaining VIPs and celebrating special occasions. The spacious rooms, "Matsu, Take no Ma" and "Zelkova no Ma," are tatami-matted Japanese-style private rooms. Although "Ichii no Ma" is also a Japanese-style room, it is furnished with carpets and Western-style dining tables and chairs, creating a comfortable dining space with a modern Japanese aesthetic. The cuisine primarily features kaiseki and gozen dishes, utilizing local specialties such as Hida beef and sweetfish caught in the Nagara River. During specific periods, seasonal hot pot dishes like jidori nabe can also be enjoyed. Among the à la carte options, the most popular dish is the "Meibutsu Kamameshi," which is flavored with a whole sweetfish used to make the broth.

Located on the northern bank of the Nagara River, this restaurant has a history of over 90 years. Each private room in the establishment offers a distant view of the Nagara River and Mount Kinka. There are both Japanese-style rooms and private rooms equipped with Western-style tables and chairs. You can enjoy kaiseki cuisine featuring Hida beef and Nagara River sweetfish.
