🍜 Menya Saburo (麺屋 三郎)

✨ Restaurant Highlights

The popular ramen shop "Saburo Ramen" located in Nishikicho offers a choice of regular, medium, and large bowls. For those who want to indulge, the "Butamen," which features large portions of special chashu (braised pork), is highly recommended. The fine noodle varieties "Shodai Chuka Soba" and "Nidaime Chuka Soba" are also worth recommending.

📜 Restaurant Details

Menya Saburo is located within a 5-minute walk from each line of Nishikichō Station. It features only counter seating, and the ordering method is through a ticket vending machine to purchase meal tickets. The best seller is the "Saburo Ramen," which is topped with a generous amount of blanched vegetables, almost hiding the noodles beneath. The medium-thick noodles come in three sizes: regular, medium, and large. The thoughtful part is that the amount of vegetables and garlic can also be customized. The soy sauce tonkotsu with added back fat is rich but surprisingly refreshing in taste, making it very popular among women. If you want to indulge, it's recommended to try the "Saburo Ramen" with a large portion of special char siu, known as "Tonkotsu Men." Additionally, I recommend the "Shodai Chuka Soba," which uses thin noodles that absorb a rich broth for enjoyment. For those who prefer a lighter taste, there's also the "Nidaime Chuka Soba."
