📖 Details

The Japanese dessert shop Mihashi (みはし) was founded in 1948 near Ueno Park and has long been loved by people. In a rather elegant Japanese-style interior, you can enjoy traditional sweets such as anmitsu (a dessert served with agar jelly, sweetened beans, fruits, and drizzled with black sugar syrup) and shiruko (a sweet made from red bean soup with added mochi or shiratama dumplings). The shop is particular about its ingredients, using red beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, and black sugar from Okinawa, crafting delicious sweets that allow people to relax and unwind.

⭐ Highlights

You can enjoy desserts that are meticulously crafted with carefully selected ingredients and methods. In the summer, shaved ice drizzled with plenty of syrup is very popular. The pillars are made from Japanese cedar (杉) and cypress (扁柏), and the interior features traditional Japanese paper lanterns, allowing one to experience the elegance of Japanese aesthetics.
