🍜 Nakamuraya Yōkan Shop

A traditional wagashi shop that has been in operation for over 120 years, located near the famous attraction "Enoshima" called "Yamanii." The shop's signature product, "Ganso Nori Yokan," was conceived when the shop first opened. It uses premium white bean paste mixed with just the right amount of nori powder, resulting in an elegantly textured wagashi. Additionally, the carefully crafted "Honren Yokan" made from selected red beans and "Kuri Yokan" are also very popular. There are also local specialties like "Tenno Bayashi," which has a soft outer layer similar to Nagasaki cake, adorned with the Enoshima Bayashi Taiko imprint, and "Nyofu Manju," which offers two filling options: red bean paste and whole red beans, perfect for enjoying while strolling around Enoshima. Moreover, there are creative desserts such as cream tofu made with fresh cream and soy milk, and "Akane Tofu," which has a texture that is firmer than water yokan. These Japanese sweets, embodying the essence of the long-established shop, are not to be missed.
