📖 Details
The most well-known "Odawara Oden" restaurant in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Odawara Oden is a new local dish launched in 2003 to promote regional revitalization. It primarily features fish cake shops that have been in business since the Edo period, along with local tofu shops, konjac shops, vegetable shops, and meat shops, all collaborating to develop original oden ingredients unique to the area. When eating, in addition to mustard and wasabi, a specialty is the plum miso made from local plums.
The oden ingredients include over 45 varieties, including award-winning types. If you're unsure which one to choose, it's recommended to order the "Odawara Oden Five Variety Platter." The broth, made from kelp and bonito, is simple yet has a light taste and rich aroma. In addition to classic ingredients, special items like "beef tendon" or "fukushumai" are also must-try delicacies.
In addition to the bar seating made from whole beech wood, there is also the "Stella Room" with glass curtains and the Garden Room, which offers a view of the garden.
*Please note that the staff at this restaurant can primarily communicate only in Japanese.*
