Takashimaya Osaka is a long-established department store located in Namba, Osaka, and can be considered a landmark in the Namba area. After reopening in March 2011, the range of brands within the store has become even more diverse and enriched. The first to sixth floors feature a variety of products, including boutique brands, women's fashion brands, and lifestyle goods. The cosmetics section on the first floor boasts the largest area in the Kansai region, with around 80 brands gathered here. The basement food floor not only has a deli area but also features a wagashi shop, which originated in Osaka, as well as popular dessert shops, making it very convenient for selecting souvenirs. On the 7th to 9th floors, the restaurant area "NAMBA DiNiNG MAiSON" houses over 30 renowned establishments offering Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. It's a great place to take a break while shopping. Additionally, the entrance hall on the 7th floor is adorned with a tile mural titled "Dance" by the representative Japanese artist Tarō Okamoto, which is definitely worth seeing. Furthermore, the "Takashimaya East Annex" is located in the nearby Nipponbashi area and is recommended for a visit as well. This Showa-era retro building was registered as a national tangible cultural property in 2019. Within this annex, you can find the "Osaka Namba KKR Hotel," a food hall with 11 restaurants, and the "Takashimaya Museum," which showcases artworks and the history of the department store.

The department store is located at various train stations, making it very convenient for transportation. It offers a wide range of popular fashion and beauty brands. In the basement market, there are many stores selling traditional Japanese sweets and desserts that are perfect for souvenirs. The restaurant area, spanning up to three floors, features about 30 renowned eateries.
