Senri Syabuchin (千里しゃぶちん) is the second branch of a personal shabu-shabu specialty store established in 1972 in Senri New Town, Toyonaka City, Osaka. When the original store opened, shabu-shabu was generally considered a high-end dish meant for sharing among multiple people. This restaurant introduced an innovative concept of individual hot pots, where each person has their own pot, instantly sparking a trend. The casual dining experience at the counter also plays a significant role in overturning the expensive image of shabu-shabu. The menu is generally divided into three categories: "Beef Shabu-Shabu," "Aged Pork Shabu-Shabu," and "Mixed Shabu-Shabu (Beef + Pork)." The meats are carefully selected from various regions in Japan and preserved using a unique aging method to enhance their flavor and texture. High-quality meats only need to be lightly cooked to significantly elevate their freshness and sweetness, resulting in a tender, melt-in-your-mouth experience. In addition to the meats, each person is served 15 types of fresh, highly nutritious vegetables, with a generous portion of 300g.
