"S-PAL" is a commercial facility directly connected to the representative station of the Tohoku region. Opened in 1988, "S-PAL Fukushima" is directly accessible from the east exit of Fukushima Station, which connects the Tohoku Shinkansen and local lines, making it a popular shopping center for local residents and tourists alike. The first floor features fresh produce, delicatessens, cafes, as well as restaurants and food-related shops. Floors 2 to 4 primarily focus on women's fashion, along with lifestyle goods and men's fashion. The "Fukushima Specialty Store" on the first floor offers a wide range of products, including Western sweets, wagashi, local sake, and miso pickles, showcasing the famous products of Fukushima. Before boarding, it's recommended to visit the first floor's "Fukushima Souvenir Hall" to pick up some souvenirs.
