Before the business hours even begin, a crowd is already lining up outside the famous ramen shop in Sapporo. Unlike traditional miso ramen, "麵屋 高橋" (Menya Takahashi) serves miso ramen in a dipping style, where the noodles are enjoyed dipped in the rich broth. The extra-thick flat noodles are fully coated with the thick and aromatic miso soup before being served. The broth contains a concentrated essence of pork bone and seafood, creating an excellent balance with the rich miso. The elasticity of the noodles and the richness of the broth blend together in the mouth, making it an exquisite delicacy. The selection of ingredients is also quite meticulous. Carefully chosen fragrant green onions, tender and juicy chashu that melts in your mouth, and crunchy bamboo shoots add even more flavor to the broth. In addition to miso, there are also soy sauce ramen and limited edition flavors available. Ordering is done using a ticket machine. After entering the shop, you first select your desired dishes on the ticket machine. Once you complete your purchase, you hand the ticket to the staff. Remember to purchase your ticket before taking a seat.
