🎎 Akagawa Fireworks Festival (32nd Edition)

The fireworks festival is held in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture, famous for the "Dewa Sanzan." It takes place on the Saturday of the third week of August each year, and the 32nd festival in 2025 will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of the merger of the new Tsuruoka City in 2005. Approximately 12,000 fireworks will be launched during the event, with the maximum width of the music-synchronized fireworks reaching 700 meters.
