🍜 American-style Western restaurant Center Grill

📝 Introduction

A long-established Western-style restaurant in Yokohama, famous for its Napoli spaghetti.

📖 Details

An American-style Western food restaurant located in the Noge area, which thrived during the post-war black market in Yokohama. It still retains the traditional style of serving dishes on stainless steel plates since its opening, making it one of Yokohama's long-established Western food restaurants. The signature dish is the "Napoli Pasta," which originated in Yokohama. While most restaurants use a sauce made from fresh tomatoes, Center Grill has been using tomato ketchup since its inception. The chewy, thick noodles are blanched and then left to rest overnight. Despite the simple ingredients of just tomato ketchup, vegetables, pork loin ham, and noodles, it delivers a refined and delicious taste. Other unique dishes that set it apart from other restaurants include "Omurice," which features fried rice wrapped in an omelet with tomato ketchup, and "Omu Rice," which has a soft egg on top of white rice. The "Special Omu Rice," drizzled with a slowly simmered demi-glace sauce, is also a must-try popular dish. Each lunch item is generously portioned. The restaurant features wooden pillars and a spacious layout, accommodating many diners. The best part is that lunch items can be ordered at any time.
