About Aoki-ya Fuchu Keyaki Namiki Street Store

A long-established confectionery store that manufactures and sells the classic sweet "Musashino Diary" from Musashino.

Details

The founding year can be traced back to the 26th year of the Meiji era (1893), making it a long-established confectionery store in Fuchu. Every day, sweets are freshly made in their own factory and delivered to 13 branches in the Fuchu area. In addition to their signature product, the mini Baumkuchen "Musashino Diary," they also offer a variety of Japanese and Western-style sweets such as sweet steamed buns, dorayaki, pastries, and cookies, all of which attract customers' attention. The palm-sized and easy-to-eat "Musashino Diary" (8 pieces of chocolate and white chocolate for 1,660 yen) is a representative confection of Musashino and has been loved by customers for over fifty years, making it an excellent gift choice. In addition to chocolate cream and white chocolate cream, seasonal limited flavors such as Uji matcha and strawberry are also available. Another signature product is the "Every Day is a Good Day Brown Sugar Dorayaki" (5 pieces for 1,100 yen), which features a rich, fragrant pancake made with brown sugar from Okinawa, filled with a generous amount of homemade red bean paste made from Hokkaido red beans. The dorayaki served in the store is a popular item that sells out quickly every afternoon.
