The Azabu-Juban shopping street has been thriving in front of the Zenpukuji Temple since the Edo period, featuring many long-established shops such as the taiyaki shop "Naniwaya Sohonten" and the soba noodle shop "Eisaku Sarashina Buya Taihei." This 300-year-old shopping street is filled with the unique charm and vitality of the downtown area. The "Natsuyasumi Matsuri," held in late August each year, is a summer highlight that attracts both locals and a large number of tourists.
During the event, vehicle traffic is prohibited in the surrounding area. In addition to the shops on the shopping street, there are also representative long-established shops from Azabu-Juban, popular trendy stores, and stalls selling local specialties from various regions of Japan, creating a grand atmosphere.
